4 x 1cm thick 100% NZPork Steaks from the pork sirloin


The little bits

Lemon juice from 1 lemon

4 cloves garlic, finely chopped

A handful of fresh basil leaves, finely chopped

Salt & pepper

Serves 4

  1. Cover the steaks with lemon juice and add garlic, fresh basil and seasoning
  2. Marinate (leave alone) for 60 mins
  3. Pre-heat BBQ to medium-high
  4. Oil the grill then grill for 7-10 minutes per side
  5. Check on done-ness by cutting (juices have to be clear) or use meat thermometer (70°C)

Suggestion

This is a really quick and easy summer-style recipe so pair it with fresh bread and garlic butter, some tossed greens and keep it simple
